About the HDCC

The Legislature is the central battlefield between two different visions for the future of Texas. We are building a stronger, tougher, more vibrant Democratic majority in Texas. In 2003, The Killer D's trip to Ardmore, Oklahoma inspired and revived the spirits of millions of grassroots Democrats across the nation who said enough is enough. In 2005, Texas House Democrats offered the only school finance plan that earned bipartisan support to improve public schools and lower property taxes for all Texas families. We are harnessing that energy and putting it to work for the future.

The HDCC is a professional political operation assisting Democrats with campaign planning, effective fundraising support, communications and earned media strategy, issue research, message development and staff training.
